Lino Vella-Gregory

​Lino Vella-Gregory is a musician based on Gabriola Island, British Columbia. He has participated in local music events, including open mic nights hosted by Nathan Sobko. Additionally, he has been featured as a main act at the Surf Lodge, a venue on Gabriola Island. ​

Lino is a one-man show with a wide range of musical influences. Whether playing with a group of musicians or on his own, he is able to captivate his audience who can sometimes be heard singing along to the classics.

If you remember the 70’s you’ll have a special place in your heart for the oldies and if you weren’t there this might be the closest you come to experiencing the immediacy of a live performance with the likes of James Taylor, Jim Croce, Neil Young, Elton John or any of the other amazing influences of the era. Some of the folks we now know as legends started out on a small stage with audiences that didn’t even know their name. Lino has an uncanny way of recreating the ambiance that went along with the many decades that have come and gone since that time, taking us back to a special time and recreating the magic of a moment.
